Carlos Garcia

Born in Quezon City, Philippines, Carlos began his training at Chameleon Dance Theater. He continued his training on scholarship at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. Carlos has many years of experience dancing as a male ballerina and has danced lead female roles that include Le Corsaire, Don Quixote, Paquita, Spring Waters and Odette in Swan Lake.
He has Danced for Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo, Les Ballets Grandiva and now for Les Ballets Eloelle.
Kiki to her friends, the former first lady of Philippine dance, Imelda left her homeland under dubious circumstances. This "Thrilla from Manila" was granted Artistic asylum by and brings with her a wealth of experience and 4532 pairs of designer point shoes. She has travelled the world and continues to be an ambassador for all things to do with shoes, dance and is writing a book called the Sole of Dancing, where she describes her bringing barefoot dancing to those less fortunate than her.
