Ian Ocampo
A product of Vella C. Damian School Ballet, Ian started his classical training at the age of 13 under the tutelage of Vella Damian. A former principal dancer of Philippine Ballet Theatre, Ian essayed several principal roles in classical and neo classical pieces with the company from 2012-2017 Taking a hiatus in dance in 2017 to expand his talent, Ian ventured into the world of musical theatre. In theatre, he had the opportunity to be part of Disney's "Newsies" and was given the role of Albert. In 2018 after a year in theatre, Ian went back to professional dancing and was offered a contract with Ballet Philippines.
In BP, he had the opportunity to dance notable principal roles such as "Basilio" in Don Quixote, "Don Jose" in Bam Damian's Carmen and "Prince Ferdinand" in Effie Nanas' Snow White. His most notable mentors are, Vella Damian, Malou Bugayong, Anatoli Panasyukov, Ron Jaynario, Grace Geralde Perez, and Carlos Garcia.
